In her role as Website and IT Director for San Francisco Science, Jane Stepak developed and maintains the San Francisco Science website, manages the email system, and provides general IT support to the San Francisco Science team. She has enjoyed a diverse career in software engineering, website development, and technical writing at firms such as Genentech, IBM, Oracle, skyTran, TiVo, TIBCO, and VMware. Currently, she is a consultant with the Collaborative, a communications company headquartered in Boston with a satellite office in Silicon Valley, where her primary focus is in the areas of website development, technical writing, and editing. Jane is a graduate of Boston University (BS in Computer Engineering, BA in Mathematics) and Stanford University (MSEE) and is a member of the Society for Technical Communication.
